SONG OF THE DAY: FEVER RAY – SEVEN (CROOKERS REMIX)   2 comments

Fever Ray – Seven (Crookers Remix) (zshare)

We don’t know who Fever Ray are so we would like to start off by apologizing to their dozens and dozens of fans as we will just be talking about Crookers. So, Crookers, what is there to say about them other than that once upon a time, in the not so distant past, The Dirty Frenchman believed that they were the greatest electronic duo of our time. Now, less so. The have made tepid music at best as of late. They reuse loops over and over again. Not good stuff. Lately they have been doing better and it must be said that The Dirty Frenchman still stops and wonders from time to time how good their upcoming album will turn out. Should their album be called “Not As Good As Before” or “Still Kinda Got it”? It’s up to them to decide whether they want to suck or not. This song is interesting. It’s no Knobbers but as they say in Germany “you can’t make a Knobbers twice”. It’s a good song to listen to when there is a film festival going on. Who knows who you’ll meet in Toronto this week? There are so many stars here. Like this guy:
