Crazy Cousinz – Bongo Jam (L-Vis 1990 & Bok Bok’s Refix) (zshare)

All is not obscure dancehall here at Walmer Convenience. We also have uk funky on rotation right now and this song will make the rain that is drowning Toronto right now go away. At least in your head. Your crazy head. This is definitely getting some play on Saturday! No standing still here.

OBSCURE DANCEHALL SONG OF THE DAY: BEENIE MAN – PRODUCT OF THE GHETTO   Leave a comment

Beenie Man

Beenie Man – Product of the Ghetto (zshare)

Dancehall madness continues here at Walmer Convenience. This one is another favourite on the Air Wave riddim. That is The Dirty Frenchman’s favourite riddim. This is not because The Dirty Frenchman himself is a product of the ghetto. No. He is the product if lax parenting and priviledge. The reason is that this riddim is so utterly badass and has great songs on it like this one and Vybz Kartel’s Mi Boost and Busy Signal’s Borderline as well as mixing well with the type of hip hop Plan B is known to favour. Increase your dancehall IQ. Give it a listen.
